The Heads of the Valley GSD Club was first registered in March 1985 with the clubhouse and showground being at Royvons Kennels & Training Centre in Merythr Tydfil. In 1998, the members made the decision to move the club to its present location at Tonew Training Centre, Redwick, Nr Magor, Gwent. This venue offers a spacious clubhouse, large flat grass areas for training and showing with the added bonus of ample car parking all within easy distance of the M4 motorway. We also hold monthly training/BBQ's inviting specialist judges and trainers to take centre court and offer advice on training, show ring handling, etc., followed by discussions around the BBQ which we hope will benefit not only novices but the experienced alike. We are pleased to announce that we have been granted CC status for 2006. |
